Erin has led, inspired, gifted musical arrangements to or taught the teachers of almost every women’s samba band in Scotland.
Erin led 100 women drumming for an arts event in Glasgow in 1992, then a workshop for International Women's Day. Women loved it so much, they asked her to set up a group. Glasgow's "She Boom" was
born and Beat That followed.
She wrote and directed the drumming on the Pet Shop Boys’ hits Se A Vida E and Single Bilingual.
She has played with Jools Holland and toured with Horse.
She leads Irvine's women's band "SumWumminDrummin".
